37 Viggen (Saab) War base exercise

SAAB 37 Viggen was a Majestetic wonder of it´s time.

It´s was a very fine kite to almost every kind of weather and missions for the Swedish Air Force. She was developed with the geographical topics and missions that Sweden  could be facing.

Due to political turnmoil and stuidity she´s no longer flying in The Swedish Air Force. She had so much more to give and develop.

I believe that a lot of pilots that flew her loved her. Thats what I heard anyway. She looks very "sweet" and graceful on the ground. But she is a brutal lady in the air. The sound of her is like thunder!

I miss her, she was amazing. This clip above is hitoric in a way, because it shows how The SAF would have used the roads in the countryside as airbases at a wartime situation. How much of this film above is to be true or not, it´s untold.

Enjoy "The lady with the big skirt"!

Shallow Fog, Fogpatches and Fog

Shallow Fog, Fogpatches and Fog are almost the same phenomenon, they are all related to the humidity of the airmass, the movement of the airmass or the amount of heatradiation out of the groundsurface.

Complicated? Not really, look at this clip below.

Now we are into that season, almost end of summer, still some nice warm and sunny days that heat up the ground, but the nights are getting colder and the air is getting more moistier. And all these three weather conditions will occur. Experienced Pilots and Meteorologists know that it will happened, but precisely when at the hour is almost impossible to say. They all are connected to when the heatradiation has it peaks, and that is...

Early mornings, just before the sun rises or late in the afternoon, but this just half of the truth.

To the Airports and the early morning traffic, it could mean delays, accidents and troubles.

You might say that shallow fog, will disapear rather quick, but Fog Patches are more unpredictable and dangerous because they move. Fog on the other hand are more stable, in a way, but could shift in visibility, up and down very quickly.

The meteorologic defenition of fog is horisontally visibility below 1000 m, all visibility above 1000 m up to 9999 m is called mist, if you don´t have any kind of percipitation.

LAX a big airport

(HD)

Well, it´s big, but I didn´t think it was that big! Maybe because I was biased by Chicago O´Hare?

Would say its  maybe  the same size as Denmarks CPH. now I am talking in terms of AREA, not TRAFFIC!

But the City of Los Angeles is very LARGE  but she didn´t attract me at all, just highways and cars were ever you saw!

Close to the Hancock building is (was) The Playboy Building, the headquarter of Playboy Magazine.

Playboy is not in the house anymore, and the building is renamed Palmolive-Building today. If you look close you will find it in the movieclips.

This Music might calm you down while you are watching .
